Working with Unity everyday for the past few years on Baum, Pearl’s Peril and a personal match-3 game (which I’ll post about soon) I’ve become very proficient in the software. I’m starting to think it’s time I cemented my skillset and got a Unity Certification in order to, at a glance, prove my professional level skills and experience. I’m also interested in getting more involved in the Unity community. In order to cement my skills in Unity.
To this end I’ve begun extensive study in all aspects of Unity to broaden my knowledge outside of my usual UI/UX work in Unity. I’m using courses in Udemy for this. Udemy is a great resource to find tutorials but it’s important to be discerning as the tutorial quality is not always great, you need to investigate the tutor and read the course reviews.
